It's actually not a blocking board; I'm just using it that way. It's a cutting board I bought at JoAnn's and since I haven't been doing any sewing I thought it was okay to sacrifice it to a good cause.
Yours is just beautiful! and chic too! I've been fascinated with lace shawls since fall issues came out to the knitting land. I think you have worked in a silk blend yarn for a shawl before. Is a yarn with silk (or 100% silk) hard to knit? I'm now considering silk yarn for a shawl.

It's beautiful! I just cast on Swallowtail last night. Ene is next, the Bee Fields, then...I've been bitten by the lace bug!
