On the needles

Monday afternoon, on my way to my UCLA class (Intro to linguistics), I started a sock in Regia Antique Patch. My Fair Isle sweater seems destined to increase my pile of UFOs unless I get back to it soon. Problem is, in this heat I can't bear to keep the sweater on my lap. A sock is ok, though, and doesn't require me to bring along charts or instructions.

Comments

After knitting blankets, a Fair Isle sweater/pullover doesn't seem so bad but times like these, I wish I knew how to knit socks.

The socks are lovely and so well done. No extra holes like mine!

Thank you Marina, but I cheated… I photographed the good side of the sock. I have a small boo-boo on the other side because I did the gusset last night in dim light and found out too late that I should have sat closer to the lamp. BTW, I just got my Addi Turbos today. Thank you so much for posting about that sale the other night!
