Tension, tension
The Blue Shimmer wristlets are done, BUT… I ran into tension problems and the second wristlet — while better looking — is quite smaller than the first one and almost unwearable. That'll teach me to pay attention while I knit. Maybe.
It does fit my wooden hand perfectly, though.
And Gigi likes it as a neck warmer.
Fortunately, a new friend from the Sand and Sea knitting guild, where I took the Bohus workshop, is coming to the rescue and sending me yarn she's decided not to use so I'll be able to knit a third wristlet.
These were knitted entirely on needles #000 (US size). For the new one, I'll use #000 for the rib and switch to #0 for the rest. I don't have #00; Addi Turbo doesn't seem to make that size. I may also change my cast on from tubular to longtail, because I hated doing the tubular cast-on on short tiny needles. It's actually my favorite cast-on, but only if I can stick the needle under my armpit.

#000! Are they thinner than needles? LOL! The colour-combination is beautiful!
Are your feet feeling better? Take care and have a wonderful long weekend.

Well, they look gorgeous -- how fortuitous that you had a wooden hand and a giraffe close by. :-)

How frustrating that they are so vastly different in size. Me, I wouldn't make a third, I'd just frog the smaller one and try to do it over. But then that's me because it would bug me endlessly that it was hanging around somewhere haunting me about the time it decided to go it's own way and be so different from the first one. Yikes, I need some chocolate to calm down with!

Beautiful, and I like the models too!
How about Cypress (or Jordan!) for vacation?

Gorgeous Bohus warmers. You can't believe how much better you make me feel--because the same sort of thing just happened to me.
I recently offered to knit Eunny Jang's Endpaper Mitts for my mom. No problems, right? Easy, right?
Well, I got them done, and they were completely different sizes... So, I knit a third one, which matched the first. Anyone need 1 Endpaper Mitt in black and red?
So, I am feeling humble right now. And knitting a lace scarf, which will be *just* the right size, of course, because they always are.
Again, lovely wrist warmers.

domesticshorthair, there is no way to frog that yarn, it is wool and angora, which is why it has such a lovely halo.
No amount of chocolate could make that job worth while.
